1. Purpose of this Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the basic rules governing the use of intraweb.host hosting, email, network and other technical services.
Its purpose is to protect the security, reliability and availability of our systems, customers and internet users.
2. Lawful Use
Services may only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable Greek and European Union law.
Services may not be used for activities that violate laws, regulations, third-party rights or applicable judicial or administrative decisions.
3. Spam and Unsolicited Communications
Sending unsolicited bulk email, spam or other messages to recipients without the required lawful basis or consent is prohibited.
Email and Email Marketing services must be used in accordance with applicable law and recognised email-delivery practices.
4. Malware, Phishing and Malicious Content
Hosting, distributing or promoting malware, viruses, ransomware, phishing pages, code designed for unauthorised access or other malicious content is prohibited.
5. Attacks and Unauthorised Access
Attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, networks or third-party data are prohibited.
Denial-of-service attacks, vulnerability exploitation, malicious scanning, brute-force attacks or other activities capable of affecting the security or availability of systems are not permitted.
6. Resource Abuse
Services must not be used in a manner that causes excessive or abusive resource consumption and adversely affects infrastructure or services provided to other customers.
intraweb.host may apply technical limits and fair-use policies appropriate to the type and characteristics of each service.
7. Third-Party Rights
Services may not be used for content or activities that infringe copyright, trademarks, personal-data rights or other lawful rights of third parties.
8. Fraudulent and Deceptive Activities
Use of the services for fraud, impersonation, deceptive practices, phishing, unlawful data collection or other activities intended to deceive users is prohibited.
9. Account Security
Customers are responsible for the security of passwords, applications and accounts managed through the services.
Customers should take reasonable security measures, maintain software appropriately and cooperate in addressing security incidents where required.
10. Abuse Reports
Reports relating to spam, phishing, malware, infringement or other abuse may be investigated by intraweb.host.
Where necessary, additional information may be requested from the customer and reasonable technical measures may be taken to protect infrastructure and third parties.
11. Action in Case of Violation
Where this Policy is violated, intraweb.host may, depending on the severity and risk involved, require corrective action, temporarily restrict specific functions or suspend services where necessary to protect infrastructure, other users or third parties.
In urgent security incidents, immediate technical intervention may be necessary before communication with the customer is completed.
12. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes to services, technologies, security threats or applicable legal requirements.
