Different levels of control and resources

With shared hosting, multiple accounts use the same underlying infrastructure within defined resource limits and a simplified management model. A VPS provides greater isolation and control, while a dedicated server makes physical server resources available exclusively to one customer or workload.

The right choice depends on the application, traffic, technical requirements and level of administration required. A larger platform is not automatically better; the important point is matching the infrastructure to the actual needs of the project.
