Fast means responsive
Visitors notice the wait before useful content appears, the delay after clicking and layouts that move while they are trying to read. A technically impressive score is helpful, but it does not replace testing the real journey through the site.
The slowest part may not be the server
Oversized images, third-party scripts, advertising, fonts and heavy page builders can dominate loading time. Hosting matters, but moving to a larger server cannot automatically repair every frontend decision.
Improve the pages that matter first
Test the homepage, popular landing pages, product pages and checkout from both desktop and mobile. Optimisation becomes more useful when it follows actual visitor paths instead of chasing a perfect number in isolation.
